Miranda Kerr in Dolce&Gabbana FW13 for Harper’s Bazaar Australia, August 2012
That pose with the prop? Perfection.
Miranda Kerr doing a yoga pose next to a gymnastic pommel horse…huh? At least she’s wearing fancy clothes by Dolce y Gabbana?

I don’t know why, but looking at this hurts my eyes.

From Malaysia TATLER, December 2009; I don’t know how they were able to hold yoga poses in designer gowns.
This spread has also made me realize the difference in media representations of yoga. The stereotype of yogis in the popular media are long, whippet thin models with limbs that never end. But most yogis I know—especially those who are teachers—are certainly thin, but with enviable muscle mass and definition. And the idea that clothing looks best on long, extremely thin bodies: I have to disagree.
